Joining the Server

RiftNRein runs one network that both Java and Bedrock players join. You do not need a separate account or a different server for either edition.

Java Edition#

  1. Open Minecraft and choose Multiplayer.
  2. Select Add Server.
  3. Enter the address mc.riftnrein.com and save.
  4. Select the server and join.

Bedrock Edition#

  1. Open Minecraft and go to the Servers tab.
  2. Scroll down and choose Add Server.
  3. Set the server address to mc.riftnrein.com and the port to 19132.
  4. Save, then join from your server list.

Bedrock players join through the same network as Java players, so you will see each other in chat and in the world.

After you join#

You land in the lobby first. From there you can travel to the other worlds. See Worlds and Travel for how that works, and Java and Bedrock for what is different between the two editions.
